PoseMate is a conceptual AI photo-taking assistant that generates socially driven pose guidance for Gen Z by treating pose trends from social media as designable knowledge. Through a formative study and participatory design study, the paper shows how user-controllable photo filtering can shape interpretable, socially grounded pose references rather than prescribing expert-defined “best” poses.
